This position will be based in our Office (work model: in person).
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact with local regulatory authorities (CVM, BACEN, ANBIMA), ensuring clear and timely communication;
- Review and maintain updated Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs, ensuring compliance with current regulations;
- Monitor and control regulatory obligations applicable to the local entity, and coordinate required certifications (CVM and ANBIMA);
- Evaluate and propose updates to internal policies and procedures to align with current legislation and market best practices;
- Conduct and monitor KYC processes for local investors, including support with UBO declarations;
- Monitor clients against sanctions lists and perform compliance adherence testing of internal procedures;
- Support business units in the development and enhancement of internal compliance controls;
- Provide internal consulting on policies, manuals, and compliance procedures, and actively participate in investor due diligence processes;
- Prepare both regular and ad hoc reports required by Brazilian regulators;
- Analyze local counterparties and vendors, including third-party risk management;
- Review, approve, and monitor personal investment activities of employees;
- Support the development and review of internal training content and corporate compliance communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields;
- At least 10 years of experience in Compliance within the financial sector, preferably at asset management firms;
- In-depth knowledge of Brazilian regulations (CVM, BACEN, ANBIMA);
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Advanced English is mandatory, and Spanish is considered a strong plus.
